Age Calculator — Find Your Exact Age

free age calculator how to calculate age age from date of birth exact age in years months days age calculator online

An age calculator tells you exactly how old you are — or how old someone else is — down to the day. Rather than doing mental arithmetic ("wait, is it 1994 to 2025, and my birthday hasn't passed yet, so..."), you enter a birthdate and the tool does all the work instantly.

Our free age calculator shows your age in years, months, and days. This is useful not just for personal curiosity — it's essential for situations where precise age matters: medical forms, insurance applications, retirement planning, and legal documents often require your age to the day.

The age calculation formula is: Current Date − Date of Birth = Age. But the real complexity comes from accounting for leap years, different month lengths, and whether your birthday has already occurred this calendar year. Our tool handles all of that automatically.

How to Calculate Age

  • 1
Open the Age Calculator — click the link above or find it in our tools list.
  • 2
Enter your date of birth — day, month, and year using the date picker.
  • 3
Set the reference date — defaults to today, but you can check age on any past or future date.
  • 4
Click Calculate — your exact age in years, months, and days appears instantly.
  • 5
Copy the result — use the copy button to grab your age for forms or records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use our age calculator with today's date. It calculates total days automatically by counting every day from your birth date to now, accounting for leap years. You can also see the breakdown in years, months, and days simultaneously.

If today's date is before your birthday this year, we subtract one year. For example, if you were born in July and today is March, you haven't turned that year's age yet. The tool handles this automatically.

Yes. Our calculator handles leap year birthdays correctly. On non-leap years, the birthday is treated as March 1 for counting purposes, which is the most widely accepted standard.

Yes — the tool lets you change the reference date. Want to know how old someone was on a specific day in history, or how old they'll be in 10 years? Just change the "As of date" field.

Percentage Calculator — Fast % Math

free percentage calculator how to calculate percentage percentage formula percentage increase calculator what percent of a number

A percentage calculator solves the three core percentage problems that come up in everyday life: finding a percentage of a number, finding what percentage one number is of another, and calculating the percentage change between two values.

Our free percentage calculator offers four modes to cover every scenario. Use it for discount calculations while shopping, tip calculations at restaurants, tax computations, grade percentages, salary increases, or investment returns.

The core percentage formula is: Percentage = (Part ÷ Whole) × 100. For finding the part: Part = (Percentage ÷ 100) × Whole. For percentage change: Change% = ((New − Old) ÷ Old) × 100.

Whether you're a student solving math homework or a professional checking a budget variance, percentage math is everywhere. Our tool makes it instant — no formula memorisation needed.

How to Use the Percentage Calculator

  • 1
Choose your mode — "% of Number", "X is what %", "% Change", or "Find Original".
  • 2
Enter your values — two numbers are needed for every calculation.
  • 3
Press Calculate (or hit Enter) — the result appears instantly below the inputs.
  • 4
Copy the result — tap the Copy button to use the answer elsewhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Multiply the number by the percentage, then divide by 100. Example: 20% of 150 = (150 × 20) ÷ 100 = 30. Or just use the "% of Number" mode in our calculator — enter 20 and 150 and hit Calculate.

Formula: ((New Value − Old Value) ÷ Old Value) × 100. A positive result is an increase; negative is a decrease. Example: from 80 to 100 = ((100−80)÷80)×100 = 25% increase. Use "% Change" mode in the calculator.

The basic formula is Percentage = (Part ÷ Whole) × 100. Rearranged: Part = (Percentage ÷ 100) × Whole, and Whole = Part ÷ (Percentage ÷ 100). All three versions are covered by our four calculator modes.

Use "% of Number" mode. Enter the tip percentage (e.g. 15) and the bill total (e.g. 85). Result: $12.75. For a 20% tip on $85, the answer is $17. You can split the total among people manually after.

GPA Calculator — Semester & Cumulative

free GPA calculator how to calculate GPA GPA formula cumulative GPA calculator semester GPA calculator what GPA do I need

A GPA calculator (Grade Point Average calculator) converts your letter grades and credit hours into the single number that appears on your transcript. It's the standard measure universities use for scholarships, dean's list eligibility, graduate school admissions, and academic standing.

Our free GPA calculator offers three modes: Semester GPA (calculate GPA for a single term), Cumulative GPA (combine a new semester with your existing record), and Target Grade (find out what GPA you need in remaining courses to reach a goal).

The GPA formula is: GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Hours. Quality Points = Grade Value × Credit Hours for each course. On the standard 4.0 scale: A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0.0, with plus/minus variants in between.

Unlike a simple average, GPA is weighted by credit hours — a 4-credit course contributes more to your GPA than a 1-credit course. This is why a strong grade in a high-credit course can significantly move your GPA, while a weak grade in a minor elective has less impact.

How to Calculate Your GPA

  • 1
Select a mode — Semester GPA, Cumulative, or Target Grade.
  • 2
Add your courses — enter the course name, credit hours, and letter grade for each.
  • 3
Add more rows — click "+ Add Course" for each additional class.
  • 4
Calculate — your GPA appears with a letter grade equivalent and visual bar.
  • 5
For cumulative GPA — enter your current GPA, earned credits, new GPA, and new credits.

Need 3.5, currently at 3.24.10 needed
Mixed: A, B-, C+, F2.50
What is a 3.5 GPA in letter grade?A−

Frequently Asked Questions

Convert each letter grade to its point value (A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0), multiply by credit hours to get quality points, add all quality points, then divide by total credit hours. Our calculator does all of this automatically — just select your grades from the dropdown.

3.5 and above is generally considered excellent (dean's list territory at most schools). 3.0 is good and competitive for most graduate programs. A 2.0 is typically the minimum to stay in good academic standing. For highly competitive grad schools or medical school, 3.7+ is usually needed.

It depends on how many credits you've completed. Early in college, one bad semester has a large impact. Later, your GPA becomes harder to move because it's the weighted average of many more credits. Use our Cumulative GPA mode to model the exact impact before it happens.

Most universities require a 3.5 semester GPA for the dean's list, though some set it at 3.7 or 3.8. Use our Semester GPA calculator to test different grade combinations and see which ones get you there before grades are finalised.

Random Number Generator — Dice, Lottery & More

free random number generator random number 1 to 100 random number picker lottery number generator random dice roller online pick a random number

A random number generator (RNG) produces numbers that have no predictable pattern — each result is statistically independent. This makes RNGs essential for games, giveaways, lotteries, research sampling, and any situation where you need a fair, unbiased result.

Our free random number generator uses the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) rather than basic Math.random(), giving you cryptographic-strength randomness. This is significantly more unpredictable and suitable for high-stakes uses like giveaways and raffles.

The tool offers five modes: Single Number (pick one from a range), Multiple Numbers (generate a list), Dice Roller (D4 through D100), Lottery Picker (unique numbers, no repeats), and Coin Flip.

Popular use cases include: running a giveaway (assign entry numbers, generate a winner), RPG dice rolls (D20 for attack rolls), classroom random selection (pick a student to present), random sampling for research, and decision making when you genuinely can't choose.

How to Generate Random Numbers

  • 1
Choose a mode — Single, Multiple, Dice, Lottery, or Coin Flip.
  • 2
Set your range — enter minimum and maximum values (e.g. 1 to 100).
  • 3
For multiple numbers — set the count and check "No Duplicates" if needed.
  • 4
Click Generate — your result appears instantly with no page reload.
  • 5
Copy or regenerate — copy the result or click again for a new number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Open the Random Number Generator, select "Single Number" mode, enter 1 as the minimum and 100 as the maximum, then click Generate. You'll get a random integer in that range instantly. Click again for a new number.

It uses the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), which is cryptographically strong — far more unpredictable than basic Math.random(). Each number is statistically independent from all previous results. It's suitable for giveaways, games, and sampling.

Yes. Assign a number to each participant starting at 1, set your range from 1 to the total number of entries, and generate. The result is statistically fair and unbiased. Use Single Number mode for a single winner, or Multiple mode for multiple prizes.

Use Lottery Picker mode. Set the minimum to 1, maximum to 49 (or your lottery's max), and "Pick" to 6 (or however many numbers your lottery draws). The tool picks unique random numbers with no repeats — just like real lottery balls.

The dice roller supports D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and D100 — all standard RPG dice. You can roll multiple dice at once and see the total plus a breakdown of individual rolls. Perfect for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and other tabletop games.

Every tool is free, fast, and works on any device.
